With this 4th round of the 2006 Revolution Touring Car Championship series, we are mid-way thru the series. The series is comprised of 8 races in total with the best 5 results taken at the end to determine the standings. As usual the atmosphere was competitive yet friendly, and was great fun for everyone!

For the first 3 rounds of the series, I was using an out-of-the-box T2 and attained the following results:
Round 1 – 2nd place
Round 2 – 2nd place
Round 3 – 3rd place

To be able to finish in the Top 3 positions consistently thus far is a testament to the T2’s race potential and durability. This is what I like best of XRAY cars: they are competitive straight out of the box.

For Round 4 I installed the front and rear anti-roll bars because I was curious to see how the car would perform. To summarize my testing done a day prior the race, the anti-roll bars yielded more traction and increased responsiveness. Especially when on a fresher set of tires, it yielded excellent handling and I was able to clock faster lap times than before. But as always, traffic during the runs always makes everything very tricky.

The Finals was based on best 2 of 3 runs and here are the overall results:

Revolution Touring Car Championship 2006 (4th Of 8)
1st – Nicholas Lee
2nd – Kum Yew
3rd - Bryan Thng / XRAY T2

A special thanks goes out to the folks of Tai Sing Corp for organizing and sponsoring the great prizes for the race, and Racecraft Infinity for the great venue. Also not forgetting Hobby Link, the national XRAY dealer.
